The "Best Scientific Project — 2025" competition was held at the Kyzylorda Higher Pedagogical College named after M. Mametova, organized by the Educational and Methodological Department among the college students.

Purpose of the competition: To foster patriotism among students, to educate them in love for the Motherland and devotion to the Fatherland by replenishing the database on the history of the college during the Great Patriotic War years, about the teachers who worked in those times, and about the students who studied then. To form the scientific-research potential of students, developing their inclination to uncover unknown secrets, propose unique ideas, re-examine research problems from a new perspective, and continuously develop their creative and cognitive qualities.

Tasks of the competition: Identification of learners actively participating in research work, providing them with support, including the best student projects in a collection, and drawing public attention to the issue of developing socio-intellectual potential.

Directions of the "Best Scientific Project — 2025" competition:

  1. "Урпаққа ұран — ұлы есім" — About Hero of the Soviet Union M. Mametova;
  2. "Рухы асқақтар аласармайды" — About college graduates who participated in the Great Patriotic War;
  3. "Нұргүлдің нұрлы кездері" — About the folk song and dance ensemble "Nurgul";
  4. "Қорғасын жауған жылдары. 1941–1945 жж." — The history of the college during the Great Patriotic War years. A) Teachers who worked in 1941–1945. B) Students who studied in 1941–1945.
  5. "Ұстаздар ұстаханасынан түлеп ұшқан талантты/жұлдызды түлектер" — Talented/star graduates who became the pride of the college (since 1932).
  6. "Ұстазым — ұлағатым, үлгі-өнегем" — Research works about veteran teachers of the college (since 1932).
  7. "Ұстаздар ұстаханасының басшылары" — Heads of the teachers' workshop (about directors who led the college in different years, since 1932).

The competition was first held separately in each department, and only the top three students from each department were admitted to the college-wide scientific project competition. Twenty-six students who excelled in the inter-departmental competition participated in the college-wide "Best Scientific Project — 2025" competition. They defended their works on the given directions through presentations. The participants tried to fully disclose their researched topics: they conducted special interviews, published articles in newspapers, worked with archival materials, and prepared at a very high level with great responsibility. As a result, the jury consisting of college teachers gave a positive assessment to the participants' works. The students who took part in the "Best Scientific Project — 2025" competition were awarded diplomas of I, II, III degrees, nominations "Young Scientist", "Research Student", and letters of gratitude. It was also announced to the students that the second stage of the "Best Scientific Project — 2025" competition will be organized at the end of February.
