Kyzylorda Pedagogical Higher College named after M. Mametova was opened as Kyzylorda Pedagogical College in accordance with the decision of the Kyzylorda District Executive Committee №33 dated 11.02.1932. The following changes took place in the name of the college:
- 1937 Kyzylorda Pedagogical School;
- 1952 Kyzylorda Kazakh Women's Pedagogical School named after M. Mametova (Order of the Minister of Education of the Kazakh SSR dated 01.10.1952);
- 1986 Kyzylorda Pedagogical School named after M. Mametova (Order of the Minister of Education of the Kazakh SSR dated 03.10.1985 №808);
- 1992 Kyzylorda Pedagogical College named after M. Mametova (decision of the head of the regional administration of 12.06.1992 №120);
- 1997 (January-May) College of Kyzylorda Humanities University named after Korkyt Ata (Government Resolution №573 of 07.05.1996, Order of the Ministry of Education and Science №14 of 15.01.1997);
- 1997 Kyzylorda Humanitarian College named after M. Mametova (Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 08.05.1997 №814);
- 1999 State College of Kyzylorda Humanitarian College named after M. Mametova (Decision of the akim of the region 7872 of 14.01.1999, Resolution of the akimat of the region №71 of 29.09.2001);
- Since 2014, the municipal state enterprise "Kyzylorda Humanitarian College named after M. Mametova" of the Department of Education of Kyzylorda region.
- In 2017, the Kyzylorda State Higher Pedagogical College named after M. Mametova was renamed into the municipal state enterprise of the Department of Education of Kyzylorda region. (Resolution of the akimat of Kyzylorda region dated 26.12.2017 №995)
